These terms govern the use of rahulrs.dev and all software development services provided by Rahul R S ("I", "me", "the developer") to you ("the client"). By paying for a service or approving a quote, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

I provide custom software development services, including websites, web applications, mobile applications, desktop applications, database work, maintenance and technical support. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline and price of each project are set out in a written quote or proposal that you approve before work begins.

2. Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on this website are starting prices in Indian Rupees (INR). The final price for each project is given in the written quote. Quotes are valid for 15 days. Work outside the agreed scope is billed separately at the hourly rate or under a new quote, and only after your approval.

3. Payments

• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. I do not see or store your full card details.
• International clients may pay using international debit or credit cards. Any currency conversion fees or foreign transaction charges applied by your bank are your responsibility.
• Projects are usually billed in milestones: 40% advance to start, 40% on delivery of a working version for review, and 20% before final handover. Hourly and maintenance work is billed in advance or monthly as agreed.
• Work may be paused if a milestone payment is more than 7 days overdue.

4. Client responsibilities

You agree to provide content, feedback, access credentials and approvals needed for the project in reasonable time. Delays in providing these may extend the timeline. You confirm that any material you supply (text, images, logos, data) is yours to use.

5. Revisions

Each quote includes a stated number of revision rounds. Additional revisions or changes in direction after approval are charged separately.

6. Ownership and intellectual property

After full payment, you own the final source code and deliverables created specifically for your project. Third-party libraries, frameworks and open-source components remain under their own licences. I may mention the project in my portfolio unless you ask me not to in writing.

7. Confidentiality

I keep your business information, credentials and data confidential and use them only to carry out your project.

8. Warranty and support

I fix bugs in delivered work free of charge for 30 days after final delivery. This does not cover new features, changes made by others, third-party service outages or issues caused by hosting or server changes outside my control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. I am not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or data, arising from the use of delivered software.

10. Termination

Either party may end a project with written notice. You pay for work completed up to the termination date, as described in the cancellation & refund policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will first be resolved by good-faith discussion, and otherwise fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of India.

12. Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you approve a quote applies to that project.
